Trinity Preschool

Welcome to Trinity Preschool! At Trinity, we are dedicated to creating a safe, loving, and faith-filled environment for children ages 3–5 to learn, grow, and thrive. Our greatest desire is for every child and family to experience the love of Jesus Christ while building confidence, friendships, and a lifelong love of learning.
We believe childhood should be joyful, meaningful, and celebrated. Through nurturing relationships, engaging activities, and supportive teachers, children are encouraged to explore, create, and grow both academically and socially in a caring Christian environment.
Our preschool program includes age-appropriate learning focused on phonics, language development, reading, writing, and number skills, along with hands-on experiences such as Music & Motion, Chapel, playground time, painting, arts & crafts, science activities, storytelling, and puppetry.
Class Hours
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Registration Fee
$150 Registration Fee
All fees are non-refundable and due with application.
Monthly Tuition
Tuesday/Thursday Classes: $175 per month
Monday/Wednesday/Friday Classes: $240 per month

We provide small teacher student ratios with a lead teacher and teacher assistant for each class. A completed registration form along with the paid registration fee, will ensure your child’s enrollment in the class. Health Forms are due when school starts in September. Children must be fully potty trained before starting school. Enrollment is on a first come basis. Contact the Preschool Director today to check space availability and to schedule a tour of our brand-new playground and newly remodeled classrooms!

Meet Your Teachers

Mrs. Shelly Gurganus

Hello friends! I’m Shelly Gurganus, Preschool Director and Lead Teacher at Trinity Global Methodist Church. I hold a B.A. in Sociology (Marriage and Family) from East Carolina University and Early Childhood credentials through AMS and NAMC. I’ve taught Montessori preschoolers in Onslow County for several years.
I believe every child is uniquely created by God and deserves a loving, nurturing, Christ-centered environment where they can grow in faith, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. I’m passionate about helping children become independent, kind problem solvers with a strong academic foundation.
My husband, Ashley, and I have two children, Jackson and Mollee, and we love worshiping and serving at Trinity. When I’m not at church, I enjoy caring for our chickens and garden, making jewelry, camping, and cheering on my kids at their games. I’m excited to welcome your child and help them grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

Hello! My name is Cassidy Fisk, and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Teacher of our preschool ministry. I am passionate about creating a safe, loving, and Christ-centered environment where children can learn, grow, and discover God's love each day.
I was saved when I was 8 years old and have always been active in church. I have 3 children, ages 12, 10 and 6 and have been married to my husband for 14 years. I serve here at Trinity Global Methodist Church in the Kids Ministry on Sundays and am PTO President at Southwest Elementary School and am a Girl Scout troop leader for a local Troop. My husband is active duty in the Marine Corps allowing us to live in many different places and countries, but fortunately we are near retirement and Jacksonville will remain our home for many years to come!
When I'm not at preschool, I enjoy spending time with my family, making memories outdoors and staying involved in our church community. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the children and families of our preschool and look forward to getting to know each of you!
